It’s all about the emotion

Whatever the project may be, the question I always ask myself is “What does the audience feel?” As an editor, I see myself as the viewer’s advocate. I hope for them to go with me on this ride and appreciate all the wonder that is this story. This process includes looking for the best shots, the perfect audio, and transmitting a sense of style and rhythm that elevates the piece. I push myself to go above and beyond of what is expected by creating my own graphics and sound to really bring the work to life. This is what I strive to be as an editor -- a full-fledged creative producer, someone who brings both honed skill and raw instinct to their art. My wish is that in the end my audience feels that emotion.
